Signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between University of Yamanashi (UoY) and UniMAP

A ceremony was held to sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the University of Yamanashi (UoY) and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). Representing UoY was Prof. Dr. Kazuhiko Nakamura, the President, and representing UniMAP was YBhg Dato’ Prof Ts Dr. Zaliman Sauli, the Vice Chancellor.

UniMAP has collaborated with UoY for 18 years since 2006, engaging in various programs such as the Joint International Grant Sakura Science and the A3I Campus Asia mobility program.

This working visit aims to further strengthen the collaboration between UniMAP and UoY, particularly through dual-degree postgraduate programs and joint research initiatives. Notably, the successful UniMAP-UoY dual-degree program has produced two graduates in the past, and currently, eight students are actively pursuing dual-degree programs at UoY. Additionally, the UniMAP delegation had the opportunity to visit research laboratories at UoY.

Also present were Prof. Dr. Mao Xiaoyang (Vice President & Executive Director, Research & Globalization), Prof. Dr. Yoshihiro Nakayama (Dean of Faculty of Engineering), PM Ts. Dr. Rozyanty Rahman (Director of CGS), and PM Dr. Latifah Munirah Kamarudin.
